Surroundings, infrastructure in Roja

The Liepu 3 property is located just over a hundred metres from the Southern pier, connected to the port of Roja and Roja river. Boating trips can be arranged, as well as yacht trips across the Gulf of Riga, for example to Ruhnu Island.

On the other side of the Roja river is the official beach of Roja, which is the location of an annual national even, the Fisherman Festival (Zvejnieksvētki). In summer, there is a beach bar where you can enjoy magnificent sea views. Roja also has a large concert hall, used for performances by local and international artists. In addition, Roja hosts simple country open-air balls and, since 2011, has been the location of the RojaL seaside film, music, and art festival, which takes place in July.

The centre of Roja is a 7-minute walk away. The bus stop means easy access to Talsi, Riga, and other destinations by public transport. The centre of the village also has the Roja tourism information centre, Roja Secondary School, Roja Art and Music School, shops, cafes, pharmacies, hairdressers, tanning salons.
